Calvin Iverson kicks off 2022 season with USMTS at Mississippi Thunder Speedway

Calvin finally was able to get his 2022 season started this past weekend at the 3-day Dairyland Showdown at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, WI in his #27x USMTS Modified. Over 70 cars checked in for the weekend, which started on Thursday night. (Cody Papke photo)

Calvin raced from 10th up to 4th in his heat race, then won the b-main and advanced from his 15th starting spot in the feature up to finish 12th. Friday, he ran third in his heat and then slipped backwards from 3rd to 10th in the night's b-main and on Saturday, he had the same results, finishing third in his heat and 10th in the b, capping off his first weekend behind the wheel of 2022.
