Iverson competes in Vintage World Championship

Calvin entered the 24th annual Vintage World Championship at the World Championship Derby Complex in Eagle River, Wisconsin this past weekend and although his weekend didnt end as he would have hoped, he showed speed all three days he was in action.

He started off the weekend by qualifying 18th on Thursday. Friday, he entered the Super Mod 340 FA class and raced from 7th to 2nd in his qualifying heat race before finishing 5th in the final. In the WC Sweet 16, he ran third in his heat race, finished 5th in the semi-feature and then started 9th and worked forward to finish 5th in the final.

Saturday in the Super Stock 440 FA class, he won his heat race and ran third in the semi-final and ended up running 6th in the final.
